El Sereno Library   The City of Los Angeles passed a Library Bond Act to construct and/or renovate 32 branch Libraries.  TSA was one of three firms selected to perform architectural services under the new bond. One of the first new branch libraries to be located in El Sereno — a 10,500 s.f. new library, with a very modern design developed through community workshops.

The Library contributes to making an urban center work by energizing and linking adjacent neighborhoods. The library was a LEED certified project and has become the education and cultural hub of this vibrant neighborhood.  The community room is heavily utilized and is adjacent to a multi-functional outdoor plaza that features the display of public art that reflects the history of this area.
