The Kraemer Building project was the restoration of the 6-story, 34,000 square foot histtoric building in the heart of Anaheim's downtown. The building, originally constructed in 1925, was completely disguised by metal grillwork panels applied in a 'modernization' in the late 1960s. The restoration project, completed in 1982, included a full seismic & MEP upgrade of the building. The Kraemer Building was listed listed on the National Register of Historic Places after the restoration and won a California Preservation Foundation Merit Award in 1983.
