Whittier Depot was located in the heart of a zone in transition from industrial/warehouse to commercial.  The City found it difficult to interest developers to the historical rehabilitation of the Depot.  The depot was moved by the City to a temporary site to prevent demolition.  TSA worked with the City to develop grant applications and funding for the rehabilitation was acquired.

TSA prepared design drawings, construc­tion drawings and oversaw construc­tion for the adaptive reuse of the depot in the downtown into a trans­portation center, local museum and meeting facility. The project was design to meet “The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilita­tion”.
